Peter Reiss, MD, PhD

Prof. Peter Reiss is Professor emeritus of Medicine at the Amsterdam UMC and Senior Fellow with the Amsterdam Institute for Global Health and Development where he continues his research on HIV, comorbidity and ageing.
He has a number of advisory roles, including membership of the Scientific Advisory Board of the HIV Netherlands-Australia-Thailand research collaboration, the NIAID HIV Vaccine Data and Safety Monitoring Board, and the Core Committee for the HIV Glasgow Congress.
He previously served as EACS President, on the Governing Council of IAS, and as co-chair of AIDS2018 in Amsterdam. He currently is Clinical HIV section editor for Antiviral Therapy.
