Biography
Prof. Dr. Maarten F. Schim van der Loeff is a public health physician and senior epidemiologist at the Department of Infectious Diseases of the Public Health Service in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. He is professor of epidemiology of sexually transmitted infections at the University of Amsterdam. His research focuses on human papillomavirus epidemiology and vaccination, HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis, and sexually transmitted infections.
