Rossaphorn Kittiyaowamarn, MD

Dr. Rossaphorn Kittiyaowamarn is a board-certified dermatologist (Siriraj Hospital, 2011) and preventive medicine specialist (2022). As Chief of the Bangrak STIs Center, under the Department of Disease Control, Ministry of Public Health in Thailand, she focuses on sexually transmitted infections (STIs). She teaches STI management to physicians in Thailand and abroad, has served on the STI guidelines expert panel since 2015, and contributed to the 2022 WHO STI guidelines. Dr. Rossaphorn has led several STI research projects, including gonorrhea treatment trials, and has been instrumental in Thailand’s elimination of mother-to-child transmission of syphilis.
