Currently undergoing a three-year sub-specialty training with the Malaysian Ministry of
Health, Chelsea & Westminster Hospital (United Kingdom) and Desmond Tutu HIV Center in
University of Cape Town (South Africa) in Communicable Disease in Primary Care covering
Infectious Diseases including HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI), Viral
Hepatitis, Travel Medicine and Vaccine-Preventable Diseases (VPD).

Head of Clinic and Family Medicine Specialist in Klinik Kesihatan Ampang (Ampang Primary
Care Clinic), Selangor, Malaysia. Klinik Kesihatan Ampang receives in average 1700 patients
daily and is a comprehensive clinic with all expanded scopes of primary care namely
general outpatient, maternal and child health, non communicate disease centre,
communicable disease centre (Tuberculosis, HIV, Hepatitis C, sexually transmitted infection),
Integrated Laboratory, Pharmacy, Radiology unit, Rehabilitation Unit (Physiotherapy and
Occupational Therapy), Dietary and Nutrition Unit, Counselling Unit and an established
Virtual Clinic. Currently, visiting Family Medicine Specialist in Klinik Kesihatan Ampang while
undergoing Sub-speciality Fellowship training.

Chairman of Medical & Harm Reduction Committee for Ampang City Getting to
Zero HIV (ACTZ): February 2019 – September 2024
The Chair of the esteemed “Jawatankuasa Perubatan dan Pengurangan Kemudaratan,” the
clinical arm of the prestigious “Ampang City Getting to Zero HIV” initiative led by the Mayor
of Ampang City. This initiative is aligned with the United Nations Political Declaration on HIV
and AIDS, committed to “Ending Inequalities and Getting on Track to End AIDS by 2030.”
Through this role, we are at the forefront of efforts to achieve this ambitious global goal,
leading vital clinical strategies to reduce harm and eliminate HIV within the community.

Deputy Director of the Central Scheme of the Malaysia-Ireland Training Program
in Family Medicine (MInTFM): March 2019 – August 2024
A pioneer member, lecturer and deputy scheme director in the Family Medicine Specialist
training programme managed and delivered by Royal Collage of Surgeons Ireland &
University College Dublin Malaysia Campus (RUMC) using the Irish College of General
Practice (ICGP) curriculum and assessment.

Oversight Committee Member of the Malaysian Country Coordinating
Mechanism (CCM): September 2023 – Current
CCM is a mechanism for the public-private partnership in the coordination of the national
disease programs at country level. CCM members represent the interest of country level
stakeholders in the fight against HIV, TB and Malaria. It is the national committee that submit s
funding applications to the Global Fund and oversee grants on behalf of the country. The
CCM oversight committee oversees the performance of the principal recipient to ensure
that agreed targets are met. Through transparent CCM oversight, the principal recipient is
held accountable to all national stakeholders.

Medical Director of The Sri Sathya Sai International Organisation (SSSIO) of Zone
4 Countries: July 2013 – September 2024
Director in the field of charity medical service rendered in ten South and South East Asian
countries focusing primarily in betterment of mankind who are stricken by poverty, sickness
and disaster. Significant community contributions by SSSIO includes medical service during
disaster relief in Typhoon Haiyan, Tacloban, Philippines (2013), Kathmandu Valley Earthquake,

Family Medicine Specialist in Klinik Kesihatan Tamparuli, Sabah, Malaysia and in charge of
the Pejabat Kesihatan Dearth Tuaran (PKKT). The specialist covering both the Tuaran and
Kota Belud Districts with eight Primary Care Clinics, two Maternal and Child Health Clinics,
two tuberculosis treatment centres located in Tuaran Hospital and Kota Belud Hospital, three
