Sasiwimol who has just been awarded her Doctrate for her work on tuberculosis immune-diagnostics and prognostics working between the Kirby and HIV-NAT working on a large Thai TB cohort.
This is well deserved for this ambitious and highly informative project. Another great output form the HIV-NAT collaboration. Sasi is currently using her learnings to help with efficient screening of prisoners as they enter jails in Thailand as a way of improving their care.
One of Sasi’s supervisors was the late David Cooper who would have been very proud of Sasi’s achievements and encouraged Sasi throughout her studies
