January 2012 witnessed two great pieces of news for us at HIV-NAT
First, The Thai Red Cross AIDS Research Centre (TRC-ARC) was bestowed an Award of Excellence from the National Human Rights Commission of Thailand for outstanding work in promoting humanitarian rights in 2011.
Second, HIV-NAT deputy director and the deputy director of the Thai Red Cross AIDS Research Centre, Professor Kiat Ruxrungtham from Chulalongkorn University’s Faculty of Medicine, received 2 awards: the Outstanding Researcher Award in the field of Medical Science for 2011 from the National Research Council of Thailand and the Senior Research Scholar Award for 2011 from the Thailand Research Fund (TRF).
