Charles F. Farthing, Doctor, born 22 April 1953; died 6 April 2014.
In early April 2014, we have lost one of our good friends, Charles.
From Lancet 31 May 2014: “One of the first doctors to treat patients with AIDS in the UK and HIV researcher. Born on April 22, 1953, in Christchurch, New Zealand, he died of an acute myocardial infarction on April 6, 2014, in Hong Kong, aged 60 years.”
