On August 25, 2022, Ms.Andrea Palm, the Deputy Secretary of Health and Human Services of the United States of America and her team visited the Thai Red Cross Society, Emerging Infectious Diseases (EID) of the Chulalongkorn Hospital, King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital (KCMH), and National Institute of Health (NIH) funded clinical research site (CRS) 31802 (Thai Red Cross AIDS Research Centre treatment CRS). All of these organizations have received NIH funding to conduct various studies including prevention and treatment of important infectious diseases such as HIV, COVID 19, tuberculosis and hepatitis B. We have a good collaboration with NIH and can make impactful scientific contribution. During this visit, all of the organizations presented their current projects/studies and its progression as well as a tour of the facilities.
