Test and Treat HIV and Viral Hepatitis for People Who Use Drugs and Their Partners in Thailand: The C-Free Study

This is a multi-center cohort study with a nested, open-label clinical trial. This study will:

  1. Assess uptake of HCV, HBV and HIV testing and linkage to care among PWID/PWUD and their life/sexual partners, through a community-based model of care in Thailand
  2. Assess retention in HIV care, and HIV suppression, in the HIV-infected PWID/PWUD and partner study patients
  3. Assess the effectiveness in curing HCV (Sustained Virological Response – SVR) of an all-oral DAA combination HCV therapy delivered through real-world community-based services, in a marginalized population of PWID/PWUD, and their partners, in Thailand.
